Alleged spy vibe-coded his bug in the boardroom TV, then got caught with toilet paper

What happened
A Saudi engineer at OpenAI was arrested on October 9 for allegedly hiding an audio recording device in an executive conference room. Prosecutors say a chatbot account linked to his wife was used in late September to get help building the recorder. OpenAI said there were no indications of model weights, source code or customer data being accessed, and the employee was fired.
