What happened
According to CNN, a U.S. Special Operations Command analyst used a chatbot that falsely flagged a Chinese ship's cargo as nuclear weapons components. Armed soldiers and aircraft were readied in the spring of 2026 before the error was caught, just minutes before a boarding.
