What happened
Meta is cutting off teenagers worldwide from its AI characters in the coming weeks until a revised version is ready. The move follows reports that Meta's chatbots were allowed under internal guidelines to have romantic or "sensual" conversations with minors. Meta's AI Assistant will remain available to minors with age-appropriate protections.
