Asking the person on the call to turn their head is apparently now a corporate security measure.
What happened
A Hong Kong branch of a multinational company lost HK$200 million (US$25.6 million) after fraudsters used deepfake video and audio of its finance director and other employees to instruct a finance employee. The employee made 15 wire transfers to five Hong Kong bank accounts before realizing it was a scam. Hong Kong police are investigating.
