What happened
Deepfake videos using the likenesses and cloned voices of ZDF presenter Christian Sievers and Tagesschau presenter André Schünke promoted AI-supported investment platforms on Facebook. Sievers publicly complained and got no response from Facebook; Schünke's fake appeared in mid-August 2023.
