What happened
A peer-reviewed paper in New Review of Academic Librarianship on Z-Library cited nonexistent sources, including a TorrentFreak article, and at least ten of its 44 references could not be located. The authors acknowledged using Consensus AI and ChatGPT, and a TorrentFreak test flagged the text as likely AI-generated. Taylor & Francis said it is investigating.
