What happened
Pro-Kremlin Telegram channels spread AI-generated deepfake videos of two Ukrainian lawmakers, Andriy Levus and Ivan Yunakov, appearing to call for peace talks and mourn lost territory. NewsGuard identified the videos, which drew about 130,000 views in two weeks.
