Litigant hides invisible AI instructions in court filings, gets stripped of e-filing privileges
Ourtake
Turns out the robot judge was the one reading the fine print, and it was the human who got caught.
What happened
A self-represented plaintiff in a Connecticut case hid near-invisible white text in court filings containing instructions aimed at an AI review system. The court noticed the unusual whitespace, warned him, and revoked his electronic filing privileges after he hid further messages; the judge found the hidden instructions had no effect on the outcome.
