What happened
A video showing Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announcing his resignation and telling citizens to lay down their arms was spread after hackers breached the Ukraine24 news website. Meta removed the video, and some experts called it a deepfake while others left that question open. The fake was poorly made and did not go viral.
