What happened
Sophos AI researchers ran an experiment using GPT-4, the Auto-GPT orchestration tool, a Stable Diffusion image model and Google's WaveNet audio model to generate fake e-commerce scam websites with fake login and checkout pages. The team concluded that the barriers to building convincing, large-scale scam campaigns with generative AI were lower than expected.
