What happened
Security researchers at Claroc found that Meta's Muse AI agent generated share links that exposed private chats. By searching a lookup dataset of visited web addresses, they opened more than 6,800 shared pages, including loan applications and bank transaction details. Meta told Ars Technica it had shut off the feature.
