What happened
Anthropic's security team tested six Claude models, including unreleased Mythos Preview, on public Firefox and Windows kernel patches. Mythos Preview built working exploits for many bugs, including full privilege escalation chains, in hours at a cost of a few thousand dollars. No real-world attack is reported.
