What happened
Microsoft's Copilot falsely told users that a court reporter in Tübingen, Germany, had been convicted of child abuse, had escaped a psychiatric hospital and had exploited grieving women. It also gave his full address and phone number. Microsoft removed the entries, but they reappeared after a few days, and prosecutors declined to press charges because no crime had been committed.
