ARTEX Agents Ran Criminal Hacking Campaigns on Autopilot

What happened
Check Point Research analyzed operator console artifacts from ARTEX, an agentic AI penetration testing platform that criminals have used with mostly autonomous agents. In one campaign from 2026-10-14 to 2026-10-29, agents compromised gray-market iOS signing shops and obtained over 300 certificates, three of which validated. Another fleet recovered credentials for roughly 6,000 still-valid gaming accounts.
