What happened
Developer platform WorkOS disclosed that an attacker accessed an internal sales application on October 30, 2026, exposing business contact details, customer account histories and summaries of customer communications. WorkOS says the attacker used the ARTEX AI penetration testing suite to automate reconnaissance and exploitation attempts, has disabled external access, and has brought in an independent forensics firm.
